Stress/Anxiety/Fear/Overwhelm are common experiences these days. Usually we try to cope with these experiences by suppressing them or distracting ourselves through food, sex, TV, drugs etc. When we are not able to handle these experiences in a skillful manner, they can often cause us to react or behave in inappropriate and non-beneficial ways.
In this free class in Lake Forest CA, we are going to learn guided practices and techniques to help us navigate experiences of stress/anxiety/fear/overwhelm in a graceful manner.
Here is the format of the course :
Part 1: General guidelines and tips on how to make the best use of the below practices.
Part 2:
For this part, You will first choose an event, situation, issue or worry that is troubling you currently and then we will work on that using the practices below.
Practice 1 : Using the Compassion key method for stress/anxiety
Practice 2 : Using the breath as a doorway to calm and peace
Practice 3: Releasing tension from our bodies
Practice 4: Using guided imagery for stress relief
Practice 5: Learning how to decipher our own stress/fear patterns and using that knowledge to help us change our future behavior.
