About us
Meditation is a wonderful way to destress, calm the mind and gain insight into decisions and life in general. We teach a variety of highly effective techniques including mantra meditation, mindfulness, breathing and kirtan (our favourite!).
We host sessions about every 3 months in Alice Springs to help you to add meditation to your life in a positive and encouraging way.
Join us for any sessions, which are free or by donations.

Mantra Sound Bath

Join us for a nourishing evening designed to calm the nervous system, uplift the heart, and gently reconnect you with inner peace.
This session is designed to help you slow down, release tension, and reset your nervous system. No experience is needed — everything will be fully guided.
- Gentle breathing practices (pranayama) to settle the mind
- A fully guided relaxation to help the body unwind
- Soothing crystal singing bowls for deep rest
- Mantra breathing to improve focus and calm
- Japa mala meditation (meditation using beads)
- Nourishing kirtan (simple call-and-response chanting)
Sacred sound has been used for thousands of years to restore balance, elevate consciousness, and awaken joy from within. Whether you are completely new to meditation or already have a practice, this evening offers a gentle yet powerful space to unwind and recharge.
We’ll close the session with warm chai and a sweet treat — a chance to connect, reflect, and carry the calm within you back into your week.
Come as you are and leave feeling lighter and restored.
Please bring the following to the session:
- Yoga mat (if you have one, otherwise we will have spares)
- Blanket
- Cushion or bolster
- Eye pillow
- Anything that will help you to be comfortable and relaxed

Kirtan is the most powerful form of meditation yet very do-able and fun. This kirtan we are sharing has been passed down through an authentic yoga lineage. Simply listen to the mantras being chanted then respond if you wish. It is a fully immersive experience using music to support the meditation.FAQs – What to Know Before You Come
Do I need to know how to sing?
Not at all! You’re welcome to sing along, hum, clap, sway—or simply listen and enjoy the beauty of sacred sound.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely. Many people come solo and leave feeling connected and uplifted. It’s a warm, welcoming space for everyone.
Can I bring my children?
Yes, children are welcome! Just keep in mind the peaceful nature of the event. Feel free to bring something quiet for them to do if needed.
What should I bring?
Just yourself. If you’d like, bring a water bottle. Chairs are provided. There’s no need to bring a yoga mat.
Is this a religious event?
No. Kirtan is a spiritual practice rooted in ancient yogic tradition, but it's not tied to any religion. People of all beliefs and backgrounds are welcome to experience and enjoy it1 attendee
