### Time: 11 am – 3:30 pm

### Teacher: Gen Samten

### Cost: Free for members, $30 for non-members

With countless demands vying for our time and attention, we can get overloaded with choice. It's time to simplify our lives.

If we put the Buddhist practice of the three higher trainings—moral discipline, concentration and wisdom—at the center of our lives, everything becomes focused and peaceful. They work together to produce an understanding of emptiness, or ultimate truth, which is the liberating path to lasting happiness.

In this special talk, Buddhist monk Gen Samten Kelsang, who has been teaching for more than 40 years, will explain how to make these virtues the center of our life. He will also give an optional talk on Buddhist ordination for those with a sincere interest in the topic.
