A Brief on J Krishnamurti and Osho Rajneesh

Details

Hi All,
This weeks lets explore the basic understanding of the great thinkers of
our times.
Jiddu Krishnamurti and Osho, also known as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, are indeed two of the most influential thinkers in the realm of spiritual consciousness, each contributing significantly to the understanding and transformation of human consciousness. Their teachings have challenged traditional notions of spirituality and self-realization, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness, freedom from conditioning, and the pursuit of truth beyond established doctrines.
Krishnamurti's philosophy centers around the idea of total awareness as essential for a free mind. He advocated for a radical transformation within the individual, asserting that fundamental societal change could only emerge from such a transformation. Krishnamurti emphasized the importance of looking inwards, freeing oneself from self-perpetuated torment and avoiding repression. He also proposed the concept of an organic society, where the interests of the individual and society align, and religion is seen as a result of past conditioning. Krishnamurti's teachings encourage a holistic approach to consciousness, urging individuals to uncover their minds layer by layer to achieve complete growth 1.
Osho, on the other hand, introduced the concept of "spiritual slavery," which he defined as the state of being bound by one's own beliefs, desires, and fears. He argued that the more one is prohibited from doing something, the more there is a desire to do it, suggesting that prohibition can be a form of provocation. Osho encouraged a deep love between masters and disciples, without any surrender or expectation from the master, and without the disciple using the master for their own enlightenment or liberation. This approach challenges traditional hierarchies and emphasizes the importance of mutual respect and understanding 4.
Both Krishnamurti and Osho's teachings have contributed to a broader understanding of spiritual consciousness, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness, freedom from conditioning, and the pursuit of truth beyond established doctrines. Their ideas have influenced countless individuals and continue to inspire discussions and explorations into the nature of consciousness and self-realization.
