What's beyond surface-level mindfulness meditation?
This zoom meetup introduces meditation on some focal points of the conscious mind. This meditation method can be applied to deeper areas of the mind.
As you move along the thread of consciousness, you will move out of the conscious mind and into the subconscious mind, then into the metaconscious mind (zone of personality), then into the superconscious mind (zone of your higher self).
This group assumes zero meditation experience but beginners and experienced meditators may both benefit from learning this type of meditation.

There are two parts in this ~45 min meditation meetup. The first part (~20 min) is all about relaxation, and you go through a body scan so that you can begin to relax and collect your attention.
The second part (~20 min) introduces meditation on the focal points of the conscious mind. As you move your attention along the thread of consciousness, you come to a focal point and simply observe your experience at this focal point.
From the waking state of awareness, you encounter your body's movement and position in space, the physical senses, and the deep body awareness center.
About me and my experience
I am currently focused on increasing awareness of the thread of consciousness that begins at the waking state of awareness and moves through the conscious, subconscious, metaconscious, and superconscious bands of the mind.
