About us

I love meditation. We've had a slightly rocky relationship over the past 12 years, but it's been one of the important pillars of my growth journey.

I see meditation as a training academy for your brain. You exercise, hone different skills, and after lots of hard work and dedication you end up with a higher emotional intelligence, with a less-conditioned set of views on life and the world, and with a much more direct and healthy relationship with your traumas. I DON'T see it as a connection with a multidimensional unifying collective consciousness, or a way to cleanse my soul for transcendence and reincarnation.

And there lies my problem: it seems as though 99.99%* of people who meditate seriously also associate it with supernatural spiritual beliefs, and I just don't have much interest in engaging.

So, I'm looking for an echo chamber please =)

A small group of people on their own meditation journey. Who take an atheistic, psychology-driven perspective on their internal experiences. And who also would love to hang out, share knowledge, discuss, connect, and meditate together.

A little bit about me:

  • From Scotland, in my 4th year living in Barcelona, working in tech

  • Mostly focused on Mahamudra and Dzogchen, but with a lot of Vipassana layered in there

  • Kind, empathetic, hopefully a fairly independent thinker =)

*99.99%: Hopefully this is an exaggeration, but I did just get back from a 1000 attendee retreat and didn't find anyone with a secular view on their practice (and I was very much looking!).
