Have you ever noticed how your breathing changes when you feel stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed?
This relaxed online session is part of a short Meditation Discovery Series, offering gentle introductions to different meditation practices.
If your mind has been feeling busy or your day has been full, this session may help you slow down and reconnect with a sense of calm.
Rather than spending a long time talking about meditation, we’ll spend most of the session experiencing the practice together, so you can discover how meditation feels in your own mind and body.

This Session: Breath Meditation
In this session we will explore breath meditation, a simple practice that involves gently bringing attention to the natural rhythm of the breath.
The breath is always with us, which makes it a very accessible anchor for meditation and a helpful tool for calming the nervous system.
Breath meditation can help:
• calm a racing or busy mind
• support relaxation and emotional balance
• improve focus and awareness
• create a sense of steadiness and presence
This session is beginner friendly, so no previous experience with meditation is needed.

What to Expect
This will be a gentle and relaxed session designed to help you slow down and reconnect with the natural rhythm of your breathing.
During the session we will:
✔ Begin with a short introduction to breath meditation
✔ Take part in a guided breath awareness practice
✔ Enjoy a calm and supportive space to relax and unwind
✔ Take a quiet moment at the end to settle and reflect
✔ Optional time for any questions
If you would like to, you may also wish to spend a minute or two writing down anything you noticed during the meditation in a notebook or journal.
You are welcome to join with your camera on or off — whatever feels most comfortable for you.

• A comfortable place to sit
• A blanket or warm layer so you stay cosy
• A cup of tea or water
