The Food and I - a conscious, intimate and free relationship
Food has direct healing or disease-fighting effects; of pleasure, comfort and sustainability; of clarity and tranquility or of nervousness and anxiety. Food has the potential to support and to save a life. And the food choices we make at each moment determine a significant part of the way we live, and in the long term lead the lives of each of us and those who share meals with us to different paths depending on the food choices made each day.
The relationship between food and ourselves is by definition a primordial, natural, organic, ancestral relationship. With sensitivity and self-knowledge, over the years we learn to understand what our body needs, when and why, honoring and thanking each time food is at our service, how food enhances our energy and vitality, supports our physical regulation and emotional center, provides for our rest and the regeneration of the entire organism.
Although it does not replace personalized medical and therapeutic monitoring, people with compulsive eating, attachment to pleasure and sensations promoted by food, as well as aversion to food, people who are overweight and have difficulty changing habits, excess control, unstable diets or permanent fear of gaining weight are welcome and accepted in this internal investigation.
At the end of their graduation, medical doctors proclaim the Hippocratic oath, which has become immortal: “Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food.” What will you claim for your relationship with food, your mind, and your body?

II INTERNAL CONFLICTS: duality of thoughts associated with food
III NEW HABITS: priorities of who I want to be
IV BODY AWARENESS: neurotransmitters effects and body history
V INTUITIVE EATING: subtle signs and sensitivity with food
VI SYSTEMIC CONSCIOUSNESS: empathy, group and community
VII THE ENCOUNTER (WITH THE NEW ME): who I am now
