NORTH ALABAMA ONLINE MEDITATION CLASS

HOW TO GAIN PEACE OF MIND IN TROUBLED TIMES

Sundays, twice a month, 3–4pm

Learn how to use the power of patience to maintain a peaceful mind and clear thinking in a chaotic world. Negative states of mind like uncontrolled desire and anger create endless problems, and prevent us from having a happy life. Buddhist teachings and meditations offer clear and simple solutions, guiding us to an oasis of peace within our hearts.

Offered on Zoom every other week, this class will present teachings, guided meditations, and discussion. The class is open to anyone, regardless of meditation experience. Classes are taught by Kadampa Teacher Bonita McCay, who has been teaching meditation classes on behalf of KMC GA in Florence for 10 years. The class is based on the book “How to Solve Our Human Problems,” by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
