Painting Minis with Sonya at Meeple Movers Board Game Cafe

You asked for it and we listened - let's have a paint day!

Have some miniatures in a favorite game you want to paint? Are you feeling creative and want to give mini-painting a try? All are welcome! Sonya will have tables set up for painting, including all the basic supplies - including brushes, paints, stains, and water pots. This will not be a guided paint - so you can create whatever you like, but Sonya will be on hand to help answer any questions or help with suggestions.

If you don't have a miniature to bring, there's plenty available at the store to choose from for purchase (cost range from $5 to $20, depending on size). If there's something you'd like to special order for the event (unicorns, bards, and dragons oh my!), please check with the store.

Please note, for this event, there is a $10 (VIGs $5) plus tax per person charge (collected at the store) to play and paint, but you'll have access to a clean play space, a great game library of hundreds of games, and a fun evening! Memberships are available for flat-rate gaming - just ask at the event. You are welcome to bring your own favorite game, but please leave game bags in your vehicle - we have limited space.

New to us? Don't worry, we're a friendly bunch and we'll have you relaxing with new friends and fun games in no time. The Meeple Crew is available to get you started by recommending and teaching games.
If you have more than 3 guests, we ask that others in your group RSVP themselves in Meetup.

Due to us being a registered food establishment, please do not bring outside food or drinks. We have sodas (craft and common), tea (hot and cold), water (sparkling and flat), and coffee (leaded and unleaded) available. Plus, we have a selection of beer, cider, and wine. You'll also find a small menu of café items from pizza to pretzels.

We have a limited number of seats (20) in our new store. Don't worry if you don't make it to this event. We have other regularly scheduled events and you can always come during non-event times.
