Demo Day - Behext with Rick and Open Play Day

Come learn BEHEXT with Rick May!

Rick will be demoing Behext - an unconventional deck-building game of arcane combat. Copies will be available to attendees at a discount. While this event does not include Play Space, you are welcome to stay and play (see details below).

About the game:
An unconventional deck-building game of arcane combat, BEHEXT is a game of magical combat, where your hand of spells is both your only defense and your only currency. To that end, you must sacrifice cards from your hand, and even your own willpower, to custom - build your arcane arsenal. Begin as a unique Battlemages specialized in your own magical discipline. Then, tailor your deck to your strategic tastes and in reaction to emerging opportunities. Curse and counter-curse your opponents into submission… without being Hexed yourself
by the wild magics that have since passed beyond your control.

Open Play Sunday
Along with the Demo event, there will be open play (RSVP not needed) on Sunday. We have a huge selection of games ready for you to try. New to gaming? Don't worry, we're a friendly bunch and we'll have you relaxing with new friends and fun games in no time.

Due to us being a registered food establishment, please do not bring outside food or drinks. We have sodas (craft and common), tea (hot and cold), water (sparkling and flat), and coffee (leaded and unleaded) available. And we have a selection of beer, cider and wine. You'll also find a small menu of cafe items from chicken nuggets to pretzels.

Please note, there is a $5 (plus tax) per person charge to play (purchase at the store). You'll have access to a clean play space, a great game library of hundreds of games, and a fun evening! Memberships are available for flat-rate gaming - ask Jon at the event. You are welcome to bring your own favorite game, but please leave game bags in your vehicle - we have limited space.
