Kid-Friendly RPG Adventure - Magical Kitties, Save the Day!

Join Joseph as he introduces you to the world of Magical Kitties! This beginner's RPG (role-playing game) starts with a 30-45 minute character creation workshop to help players learn how to create their purrrfect kitty. The rest of the session will be an introductory adventure to get into the game. Players will need nothing to play, (if you have your own D6 dice you can bring them and a pencil, otherwise they will be provided). Players can be 10 years of age and up (parents are encouraged to join their young ones on the adventure).

About the Adventure:
In the World of Magical Kitties, you are cute. You are cunning. You are fierce. You are Magical Kitties, and it’s time to Save the Day! Every Magical Kitty has a human. Every human has a Problem. You'll need to use your magical powers to solve problems and save the day! But kitties live in Hometowns that are filled with witches, aliens, hyper-intelligent raccoons, and other foes. They make human Problems worse, so the kitties need to go on adventures to stop them before that can happen.

This RPG is a great intro for kids 10 and up and this adventure will teach you how to get started so that you can do your own adventures at home. Magical Kitties is available for purchase in the store and includes a solo-play graphic novel adventure, an action-packed comic book and is also a full scenario! Within moments, you’ll be able to create your magical kitty and go on an amazing adventure that will also teach you how to play the game! Older players — whether they’re parents, babysitters, teachers, or older siblings — can be the Game Master for kids as young as six-years-old and everyone else who loves kitties.

Due to us being a registered food establishment, please do not bring outside food or drinks. We have sodas (craft and common), tea (hot and cold), water (sparkling and flat), and coffee (leaded and unleaded) available. And we have a selection of beer, cider and wine. You'll also find a menu of cafe items from chicken nuggets to pretzels.

Please note, there is a $5 (plus tax) per person charge to play (purchase at the store). You'll have access to a clean play space, a great game library of hundreds of games, and a fun evening! Memberships are available for flat-rate gaming - ask Jon at the event.
