Visit to Blickling Hall Estate. 🏰

Details

There are over 400 years of history here (in the birthplace of Anne Boleyn - who apparently is still here in her ghost form!!).
The hall was built in the 1620s and has 55 acres of formal gardens with a parterre, lake, and kitchen garden.

We will meet at 11 am by the Muddy Boots Cafe ( wooden building in the main car park). I'll bring cake to share outside ( weather permitting) as I'll be even older 2 days after!!

No group fees for this event..

The car park is reached by passing the hall ( from the direction of Aylsham) and turning right ( signed Main Car Park).

We will visit the house first ( feel free to explore the cafes, second-hand bookshop, and grounds if you have already visited the hall).

We will then meet for lunch at the main cafe/ restaurant for 12.30 pm ( found to the right of the house area). There are always snacks, jacket potatoes, sausage rolls, scones etc available. There are some gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan options....

After lunch, we can explore the gardens and lake area.

You may prefer to explore the walks and woodlands surrounding the hall.
