The Norwich Blitz - history tour.

This is a tour by an experienced and professional guide.
Please see the photos section for more detailed information - in brief, Jo has worked for the MOD in Germany and gained extensive experience as a battlefield guide. She has a Masters in military history and leads many tours of the battlefields of both World Wars 1 and 2.
She contributes to many articles and TV programmes.

This is a tour to show the extent and impact of The Baedaker Raids on Norwich in 1942. It will look at areas obliterated and damaged and some of the buildings that replaced those destroyed. It will be a tour looking at how the city endured and survived and the impact on the city's people. It will also consider the impact of the Americans in East Anglia during this time.

Meet at The Adam and Eve. Norwich for 9.30 for a 9.45 am start.

We'll find a suitable venue for refreshments ( optional) after the tour and toilets!

Cost - £6 on the day...£5 for Jo and £1 for Meet Dereham fees.
