Whitlingham Lake - a walk and/ or refreshments. 🌳 🌞 💧

This will be a chance for some fresh air after the mince pies and pud!!
It will be a walk around the lake ( about 3 miles) at a reasonable ( not super fast!) pace. The lake/broad is surrounded by an easy flat path, although it can be muddy - please dress accordingly.
This is a lovely place for a relaxing walk.

Meet from 10.45 am to start at 11 am.

We'll meet at The Flint Barn/ Visitor Centre.

Well behaved dogs on leads allowed.

The Flint Barn has light refreshments available - cakes, snacks, hot and cold drinks ( some gluten free options).

There are toilets at The Flint Barn.

Parking: Roadside parking along Whitlingham Lane is free ( it fills quickly, though and requires a short walk to the site).
There is a car park too - parking fees apply.

The Flint Barn has wheelchair access.

If you are unable to walk for any reason, you are welcome to wait at The Flint Barn with a coffee order, etc, and we will meet with you there after the walk.

Please bring £1 each to contribute to group administration costs.
