This will be a chance to look around what I feel is an often overlooked museum and building, tucked away down Bridewell Alley.
Norwich was once the largest English city, second in size only to London. The city's long history, industries, and people's lives are explored in this museum.
The exhibits cover weaving, shopping, trading, artefacts from different eras, an impressive undercroft, and a fully recreated early 20th century chemists.

Meet at the entrance for 10.30 am ( easily located off Bedford Street).

The entrance fee is ยฃ8.20 but please check the website for concessions.
I have a museum pass - ยฃ45 for the year now ( not ยฃ41 as I stated previously!). This covers all 10 museums across Norfolk, including The Castle, Stranger's Hall, and Gressenhall - for me, it's made more sense to buy this!

We can get refreshments together after ( optional) as there are plenty of options close to the museum.

No group fees.
Toilets
Car parks - St Andrew's is close.

NB: I've kept numbers small as I will repost this for August 1st. Please sign for one or the other but not both dates to make this accessible to as many members as possible.
