Every Sunday over the summer this beautiful large garden is open to enjoy, plus homemade and very reasonable refreshments, including homemade cakes/ afternoon tea in the gardens.
There will be folk music and this is a 3 acre restored Victorian garden with a gothic fountain, flowers, lawns, walkways and a rustic bridge - described as ' a haven of peace and tranquility'. There are information boards about the history and restoration to view.
Entry is ยฃ2 on the gate and the refreshments can be purchased near the entrance.
A ยฃ1 voluntary contribution to group fees will be appreciated to enable the group to continue.
We will meet at 1.50 pm by the metal gates/ main entrance - this is a few steps down the signed track on Earlham Road. The event starts at 2 pm.
We will be able to sit, chat, enjoy afternoon teas, and explore the gardens.
I'm hoping for great weather .... but please bring an umbrella...just in case!
The gardens are on Earlham Road, the same side as The Roman Catholic Cathedral and before you reach the cathedral.
The full address is 4 Earlham Road NR2 3DB. Parking is free on Earlham Road and some of the nearby roads.
