Hey there! 🌿 I’m hosting a cosy, laid-back drawing meetup at Dublin’s Botanical Garden on December 1st, and I’d love for you to join us!
This event is all about connecting with fellow creatives, sketching, and enjoying a relaxed couple of hours in nature. 🌞

Theme: The Art of Noticing 🌿
Recently, I’ve been diving into books that celebrate the art of "truly seeing", like The Zen of Seeing by Frederick Franck and Botanical Drawing by Giovanni Civardi. These books have inspired me to slow down and practice “the art of noticing”—to observe the details of plants, animals, and nature with fresh eyes. 🌱

For this meetup, let’s sketch together with this in mind: focusing on what we notice rather than what we think we “should” draw.
We’ll enjoy the practice of close observation, allowing nature’s details to shape our art and deepen our awareness.

What to Expect:

• Relaxed Vibes: We’ll gather at Dublin’s Botanical Garden and spend a few hours sketching, chatting, and connecting with new friends. No pressure—just a chance to unwind and get inspired by nature and each other! 🎨
• Friendly Atmosphere: Whether you’re here to sketch, doodle, or just meet some new people, everyone’s welcome! We’ll share tips, stories, and inspiration as we go.
• Art Supplies: Bring your favorite sketchbook and art supplies—whatever you enjoy working with! I’ll have a few basics on hand (pencils, pens, paper), but feel free to bring your own. 🖍️📝

Important Info:

• When & Where: We’ll meet at Dublin’s Botanical Garden at 11:00 AM—for a bit of sketching before lunch break!
  Look for the group with sketchbooks—we’ll be easy to spot! 🌱 + more info on where to meet soon! If the weather is good we'll just stroll around, otherwise we'll stay inside the greenhouses!
• Cost: Totally free! Just bring yourself and your art supplies!
