About Alan V:
Alan is an Illinois native and a former Chicago Public Schools teacher who holds a bachelor of arts degree in history and masters degree in education. He has lived on the North, South, and West Sides of Chicago, as well as downtown. Alan is the organizer and founder of West Town Social Club, an organization which curated events for local Chicagoans and visitors alike who want to make new friends. Additionally, Alan is an experienced traveler who has been to every continent not named Antarctica.This tour is organized by West Town Social Club. Come make new friends with West Town Social Club on a fun Saturday late afternoon/evening session to get your summer started with a bang! This 3-stop, host-guided crawl will be filled with good vibes, good drinks, and good company as we make our way through one of Chicago's most fun neighborhoods.
The first 2 stops will have drink specials exclusive to crawl attendees! Specials will be announced to attendees alongside the crawl schedule.
As always, West Town Social Club all about bringing people together--whether you come with friends or by yourself, you'll be sure to make new connections!

PLEASE NOTE: The crawl schedule and list of stops will be sent to registrants via email at 11am on the morning of the crawl (6/7). Stops will be in the Fulton Market area between Hubbard, Halsted, Madison & Morgan.

Each 2-2.5 hour tour will show you some of the most notable sites of downtown Chicago. Three (3) tours will be offered on rotation this summer, with each tour being offered every 3 weeks. See schedule below.

West Loop/Near West Landmarks - 7/1, 7/22, 8/12, 9/2Following the conclusion of the tours, you'll get to enjoy a special happy hour just for walking tour guests at AIRE Rooftop atop our starting point, the Hyatt Centric Hotel!
