Welcome! In this group we meet up to laugh, meet new like-minded people, and simply have fun.
You're in the right place.
This group is for those 18 and older and is all about visiting different comedy clubs, comedy-related events, laughing/learning about different comedic styles, and with the high possibility of meeting the comedians and comics after the show.
Formerly run by a Marine Corps veteran who found comedy after my midlife crisis learning and loving stand-up comedy. This group is now managed by Laugh Your Truth Productions aka LYT Comedy. We hold a high standard for comedians and took over this lovely group to save it from being removed from Meetup.
Sometimes we have to pre-register for free tickets, and other times there's a charge. Keep in mind most venues have a two-drink or two-item minimum, but it's a small trade-off for a night of great laughs and meeting performers.
So, why join us? Imagine having more fun than you expected, surrounded by people just like you. You'll sometimes get that behind-the-scenes look, and the chance to meet both rising and existing stars in comedy.
