Join is for our annual July 4th Fun Run/Walk.
Trail: Maple Highlands Trail (starting at Arby's/Water St). We run/walk at 9am sharp!
There is a parking lot behind the start location on Park Ave (near Tilden & Park). There are surrounding parking lots too.
Not sure allowed, but you might be able to park at Arby's too (I usually do).
We will run from Arby's down the MAPLE HIGHLANDS TRAIL.
Everyone goes at their own pace, run, jog, walk! Totally up to you! Bring your dog, your stroller, whatever your pace is we support you! Pace and distance is up to the idividual, but we usually run/walk about 3 miles. If you run/walk to the "Moutain Run Station" Crossing it is just over 1.5 Miles and return to come back you will have your 3.1 (or so) miles for a 5k. It's a beautiful path!
All speeds welcome. All distances welcome. we usually do 3 miles. Then we walk over to the Eleventhree Brewery for a drink to celebrate our independence (if they are open)!!!
Walk or Run, bring the kids, pets, etc - all are welcome!!!
Come on out and let's do a few miles (or however many you'd like). We usually get something to drink afterwards. It's always a fun time with this group. See you there! :-)
