Brunch & Bookclub - “Where the Crawdad's Sing” & “Memoirs of a Geisha”

Meet Melbourne now have our very own bookclub!!!

What:
The idea is that we can all get together, and chat about the book and get to know people and make friends along the way!

When:
Every 4-6 weeks

Where:
So we can try & see as much of this awesome City as possible, I thought we could meet at a different place each month – we will decide on this as a group…it is a democracy after all :-)

Who:
Absolutely everyone is welcome! Everyone has different work and social commitments so if you can’t make it one month…just come the next time

The Books:
Again, we will decide on this like a democracy with everyone welcome to make suggestions and we will go with the consensus.
We have decided to pick a Contemporary book and a Classic book each month. You can choose to read one or both (or neither!).

This is a very laid-back bookclub, and while we do read and talk about the books, this is really more about have a casual get together with good food and conversation...if you want a serious bookclub where the book is reviewed and discussed in detail - we may not be the group for you :-)

Contemporary - "Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens
Classic - "Memoirs of a Geisha" by Arthur Golden

RSVP'S (Please read!)

• We have made a booking for 10 - can be increased if necessary
• We have had issues with people RSVP'ing yes and not attending. This can be frustrating and embarrassing when we have made a reservation. There is now a 3-strike no show rule. If you are marked as a no show on 3 occasions you will be removed from the group. We get things come up and sometimes you can't make it, but please just update your RSVP.

If we need to split the bill, I have PayID making it easier to transfer me the $$.
