Meet New Friends and Explore Vancouver - 30's and 40's

Hi everyone,

The weather forecast is for a nice sunny weekend. This event is for a bike ride around Stanley Park starting from the corner of Devonian Harbour Park at the intersection of W. Georgia St. and Denman St. and ending at English Bay.

Meeting Location
We meet behind the bus stop on Goergia Street, close to the benches at the corner of the park (W. Georgia and Denman).

Bikes
I will be renting a bike from Spokes at the intersection where we start. You can bring your own bike or rent one from one of the bike rental stores on Denman St. Please note that it is mandatory to wear an approved bicycle helmet at all ages when riding a bike on public roads, trails, and paths in B.C. You can rent a helmet with the bike.

Plan
The ride should take around 1 hour (a bit longer if we stop along the way). After we reach English Bay, I'll walk back along Denman Street to return the bike. We can grab coffee/drinks after if people are interested.

Please be aware that all members and guests cycle at their own risk. Once you sign up, I am not liable for any mishaps and I do not have any medical training.

Please be sure: your bike is in good condition, tires are inflated, and brakes are in good working order before arriving at the starting point.

We're going to go back to our Tuesday evening walks around False Creek every 2nd Tuesday. It's a chance to get exercise outdoors and meet some new people.

The group will meet at George Wainborn Park, walk towards Science World, and then return back to George Wainborn over the Cambie bridge. The walk will take about an hour and a half.
