Madrid es además de una ciudad llena de cultura, vida nocturna, cañas y tapas, un lugar rodeado de naturaleza; montañas, lagos, ríos y diversión! Descubrelo, mientras conoces gente de todas partes del mundo. 🌳🏔️
Este domingo realizaremos una de las rutas de senderismo más bellas de la sierra madrileña, por la hermosa zona que rodea el mítico pueblo de Cercedilla al norte de Madrid. Desde el punto conocido como El Mirador de los Poetas, podremos disfrutar de las vistas de Siete Picos, un macizo también conocido como La Sierra del Dragón, las aguas del río Pradillo, el Camino del Agua y un majestuoso bosque de pinos y robles. Admirado por el rey Carlos V, este increíble y mágico bosque será nuestro deleite de este fin de semana.
A mitad del recorrido, haremos un picnic para descansar, comer y disfrutar las vistas junto al rio.
Esta es una ruta de nivel moderado de unos 15km.

🎒¿Qué necesito llevar?

1. Usa botas cómodas para caminar o de senderismo, o zapatillas deportivas. ¡Tus pies te lo agradecerán!
2. Trae al menos 1.5 litros de agua. ¡Mantente hidratado!
3. Empaca algo de comida para almorzar (un sándwich, fruta, snacks, etc.).
4. No olvides el protector solar para proteger tu piel.
5. Mucho abrigo!!

❗IMPORTANTE❗
Iremos en transporte público, así que trae dinero en efectivo para el autobús,(approx 3 euros de ida y 3 de vuelta) que no está incluido en el precio (menores de 26 años gratis con Abono Transporte). Si tienes coche propio, puedes traerlo y llevar a otros participantes contigo para compartir la gasolina.

This Sunday, we will hike one of the most beautiful trails in the Madrid mountains, through the beautiful area surrounding the legendary village of Cercedilla, north of Madrid. From the viewpoint known as El Mirador de los Poetas, we will enjoy views of Siete Picos, a mountain range also known as La Sierra del Dragón, the waters of the Pradillo River, the Camino del Agua, and a majestic forest of pine and oak trees. Admired by King Charles V, this incredible and magical forest will be our delight this weekend.
Halfway through the route, we will have a picnic to rest, eat, and enjoy the views by the river.
This is a moderate level route of about 15km.

🎒What do I need to bring?

• Wear comfortable walking or hiking boots, or sneakers. Your feet will thank you!
• Bring at least 1.5 liters of water. Stay hydrated!
• Pack some food for lunch (a sandwich, fruit, snacks, etc.).
• Don't forget sunscreen to protect your skin.
• Wear warm clothes!

❗IMPORTANT❗
We will be traveling by public transportation, so bring cash for the bus (approx. $3 one way and $3 return), which is not included in the price (free for those under 26 with a transportation pass). If you have your own car, you can bring it and take other participants with you to share the gas.
