Beginner Crochet Club

Have you ever seen something created by a crocheter in your life or online and thought to yourself: "Holy cow! That's amazing, I wish I could do that!"
Well! While Kyran's creature creations makes no guarantees of instant skill we are happy to provide this beginners club once a month to help you learn the basic skills and discover resources for your journey into crochet!
We will be gathering for up to 4 hours of "learn as you go" crochet fun! You don't have to know anything about crochet to join the Beginner's Club!
Don't know a chain from a slip stitch? Does a magic circle strike fear of fairies into you? No worries, I'll help you learn an increase from a double crochet!
What you get for signing up for the Beginner's Club:
- A small group learning experience of up to 5 people
- Hands on teaching from an experienced crocheter
- Instructional materials
- A small kit for practicing
- A basic test pattern
- Referrals to sites, channels, and patterns.
About Kyran:
Hi! I'm Kyran (he/him) and I am a local crochet artist who found crochet as an outlet 3 years ago and fell in love with specifically amigurumi which is the art of plushie making! I've been on a pokemania kick recently but I love making dice bags, dragons, goblins, Warhammer 40k, Star wars, and more geeky stuff! I love seeing peoples faces light up when they see something they connect with, and being able to share the joy I feel from crochet.
I believe everyone has a spark of creativity, whimsy and even an inner child in them that crochet can bring out and help flourish. For my fellow crocheters I would be honored if you would join me and I hope we can make something that sparks joy!
