What we’re about
Welcome to Meet to Build!
A community of aspiring & early-stage builders in Berlin.
We empower people from wanting to build to actually building through curated gatherings and meaningful connections.
We bring together people building across diverse industries — from food and physical products to tech and the arts — encouraging unexpected collisions and cross-pollination.
Every event is intentionally curated to make meaningful connections easier, not just more frequent.
We highlight the raw, real stories of builders — including the early messiness, false starts, and behind-the-scenes pivots.

Stories & Build - 2nd Tech edition
AtWorld, Alexanderstraße 1, 10178, Berlin, DELast Meet to Build event of the year
An evening of honest stories, product demos & new connections
We’re back with the second edition of Stories & Build, a new Meet to Build format created to bring together early-stage builders, creatives, and entrepreneurs to share what they’re working on right now.
No polished keynotes. No investor pitches.
Just real stories from the messy middle — the small wins, honest struggles, and creative sparks that define what it means to build something of your own.
✨ This is the only Meet to Build event that’s open to the public — and completely free to attend.
It’s your chance to get a taste of the community and experience the kind of energy and connection our gatherings are built around.
- Mike Bettes — Founder of Navar, an AI-powered consulting platform built for work that needs more than a simple chat. Since 2023 he has led an AI-first product team and advised global organisations on AI strategy.
- Firly Maulana — Founder of Moonlight, a community-powered safety app helping women and underrepresented groups navigate cities through shared knowledge, safer routes and everyday guidance.
- Deniz Mert Yıldız — Founder of FoundersBrain, the smart second brain for founders and operators. With experience across GTM, expansion and early-stage building, he’s helping entrepreneurs capture, organise and rediscover insights from the web through AI-powered summaries, tagging and resurfacing.
- Darja Gogunova — Co-Founder of Denizen and launching team at ATworld, building new models for how people access and experience space. Her background spans product leadership, hospitality innovation and consulting, shaping the future of “New Work” through both brands.
💛 What to Expect
- Builder Spotlights — 3–4 founders about to launch or recently launched will share their journeys and demo their product
- Networking & Connection — Meet early-stage founders, designers, and creatives from Berlin’s growing builder scene.
👀 Who It's For
This evening is for anyone who’s:
- Exploring a side project or early-stage idea
- Building something solo or with a small team
- Interested in entrepreneurship, product, design, or creative work
- Curious about what others are creating in Berlin
You don’t need to be a “founder” — just curious, open, and ready to connect.
