What we’re about
Meet Watton is a friendly social group who put on a variety of regular events such as walks, lunches, cinema and theatre trips, art and craft events, quizzes, bingo and many other events and activities. Anyone over 18 is welcome to join.
Whilst we try to be as relaxed as possible, we do have some rules that we ask people to adhere to:
- Please include a clear, up to date picture of yourself on your profile. This helps us spot new members at events. If you currently do not have a profile picture showing your face, please can you update it as you will not be able to attend an event without this being done.
- When we hold ‘dog friendly’ walks, it will clearly say in the description if you can bring your dog or not. It is a requirement that you keep your dog on a short lead at all times and walk at the rear of the group at these events.
- Our events are child free; this is a social group for adults.
- We ask that you please update your RSVP if you can no longer attend an event, even if you’re on the Waiting List. Persistent “No Shows” and members who persistently cancel last minute will be removed from the group.
