🌲Nature hike in Kaapse Bossen to the magical lake Henschotermeer🌴🌊 Meet&Vamos

Hello everyone! Ready for the next adventure?
We’re heading out for a magic nature trek through De Kaapse Bossen (The Cape Forest), a stunning mix of forest trails, that will end in the most magical and impressive lake in the Netherlands: the Henschotermeer. After our day exploring the forest, we will relax & swim in the beach of this lake 🌞. Join us for a full day of nature, movement, and good company!

### 🗓️ Plan of the Day

📍 Meeting Point
Amsterdam Central Station - 10.30 AM

🚶‍♀️🌲 Nature trekking in the De Kaapse Bossen
We’ll first head to Doorn, and from there we will start our trekking inside the Forest.
👀 Stop 1 – Outlook Tower "De Kaap"
A short hike inside the heart of the forest will take us to a tower where we will see the whole forest from above!
🌿 Continue the walk in the forest
From here we will enter deeper in the forest, trying to spot the wild animals 🦌. We will also look for a nice spot where we can do a picnic.
🍻 Break in Maarn
Eventually we will reach Maarn. This is our opportunity to grab a drink and relax if we are too tired.
🏖️ Final Stop – Henschotermeer Lake
After passing Maarn, we’ll end our journey in this magical lake, where we will be able to swim in the blue water and enjoy the beach (+volleyball) before heading back.
🚶 (Optional) Extra trek
If you still have some energy and it's not too late, we can head to "trekkerpunt", where we will enjoy a different landscape, with less trees but beautiful purple fields.
🚉 Return Trip
We will be heading Woudenberg in order to catch the train to go back to Amsterdam. If you are going to a different location it might be more accessible to go back to Maarn. Either way, we will be finishing our trip at around 6:00/6:30 PM.
