We’re heading out for a bike ride to Kinderdijk! Yes, one of the most iconic and stunning spots of the Netherlands. But this is not just it, we will have a mix of nature, villages, culture and even a big city (Rotterdam). Join us for a full day of nature, movement, and good company!

📍 Meeting Point

Amsterdam Central Station - 10.30 AM
(Bring your own bike or rent one in Rotterdam station)

🚉 Train to Rotterdam
We will be taking the train to Rotterdam centraal, which is where the adventure begins. You can meet us directly there if it's more convenient for you. We will start the ride from here.

🚴‍♂️ Bike Ride to Kinderdijk
We’ll cycle along Rotterdam's famous river: Nieuwe Maas. The total duration of the ride is around 1h. However, we will enjoy some stops, so it might take a bit longer.

🧺 Stop 1 – Picnic at the Donckse forest
After some riding, we will stop at a beautiful forest called the Donckse Bos. This s our moment to enjoy a nice picnic there to recharge our energy and continue our adventure.

🌷 Exploring Kinderdijk
Finally, we will eventually arrive to Kinderdijk: One of the most iconic spots in the Netherlands. Picture windmills, canals and a lot of history. We will explore the whole area and learn about the dutch historical use of canals.

🌿 Ride back to Rotterdam
When we are done we will head back to Rotterdam through a slightly different route, so that we can later on explore the city.

🏙️ Final Stop – Rotterdam city
We’ll wrap up by exploring this awesome city, where we will be finding ourselves surrounded by super cool modern architecture. Besides, we will take this chance to close up with some drinks in the city 🍻

🚉 Return Trip
Once we are finished we will head back to Rotterdam centraal to catch the train back to Amsterdam.
We plan to take the train between 6:00/6:30 PM.

2. You need your bike for this event. If you don’t have one, we suggest getting an OV bike for 4.65€ (by the train station Haarlem Centraal). Note that this last thing is ONLY possible if you have an OV chipkaart with an NS Flex or OV fiets subscription.
3. Age range for this event is from 24-36 years old
