Tonight's movie: Ingrid Bergman: In Her Own Words is a 2015 Swedish documentary film about Ingrid Bergman directed by Stig Björkman. Isabella Rossellini opened her mother's private archive for the director. It contained many meters of film, as well as Ingrid Bergman's diaries, letters, and notes. Using this material and interviews with her four children, the film tells the life story of a Swedish girl who became one of the most successful actresses of all time.

The was screened in the Cannes Classics section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival where it received a special mention for L'Œil d'or. At the 2015 Vancouver International Film Festival, the film won the award for Most Popular International Documentary, based on audience balloting.

Ingrid Bergman (1915–1982) was a Swedish actress with a career spanning five decades. Bergman is often regarded as one of the most influential screen figures in cinematic history. She won numerous accolades, including three Academy Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, a Tony Award, four Golden Globe Awards, a BAFTA Award and a Volpi Cup. She is one of only four actresses to have received at least three acting Academy Awards (only Katharine Hepburn has four). In 1999, the American Film Institute recognised Bergman as the fourth-greatest female screen legend of "Classic Hollywood Cinema".
