====================

True to tradition, the plays are written and performed by their members. The title also sets the stage for the ominous ending that is ever present. But in true Caretakers fashion, we can’t resist giving it a playful twist. After all, nothing ever truly ends; every ending carries within it the spark of a new beginning.

The 6 one-act plays being presented are:

  • Success: A heartbreaking monologue of someone trying very hard to understand the world.
    Written by Simon D. Hicks
    Directed by Laurence Grossenbacher
    Starring Sebastian Coleman
  • The Séance: One talking skull, three sisters trying to save the world - what could go wrong?
    Written by Dorota K. Solarska
    Directed by Laurence Grossenbacher
Starring Cloe Coendoz, Rahel Brügger, Cristina Mosimann and Cedric Zwahlen
  • The Preparations: A group of doomsday preppers get reminded of the importance of proper packing and
    leaving your plushie behind.
    Written by Dorota K. Solarska
Directed by Alexander P. Sigrist and David Kezaala
Starring Rahel Brügger, Sebastian Coleman, Cedric Zwahlen and Rebecca Rendic.
  • Here we are again: An obsessive rant, occasionally interrupted by someone trying - against all odds- to get the person ranting to understand what’s happening.
    Written by Franz Andres Morrissey
    Directed by Lukas Edelmann
Starring Alexander P. Sigrist and Matea Todorovski
  • Wouldn’t it be nice: Two former lovers meet again; reminisce about the life they’ve left behind and wonder if “Wouldn’t it be nice” was ever so unimaginable.
    Written by Angie Oak
    Directed by Matea Todorovski
Starring Rahel Brügger, David Kezaala and Cloe Coendoz
