What we’re about
I am interested in putting together a volunteer group of explorers, adventurers, travelers, artists, naturalists, educators, SCUBA divers, environmentalist, photographers, filmmakers, and YOU - to carry out a series of expeditions and to produce a sequence of documentary films in the process. I am a scientist and college professor, so my schedule follows that of a college student - spring break, winter recess, and summers off. I would like to use this free time on this venture, and I would like your experience, knowledge, and expertise for this project. I have two Netflix approved digital cinema cameras - a RED Gemini and a RED Komodo and will be buying underwater housings for these cameras shortly. I am a diver. My hope is that these projects take us around the world – some of my ideas for summer trips include Patagonia, Kilimanjaro, Truk Lagoon (diving) and shorter winter trips to the Caribbean, etc. -add your idea here_________. Also, I live on Cape Cod and have a few boats that can make it to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. My hope is to film locally on weekend to learn techniques in filming, filmmaking, and film projection. I have an old website that shows some still images and trips I’ve taken in the past which might give you a general idea of what I’m trying to accomplish.
