How to Make a Classic Aperol Spritz
1. Fill a large wine glass generously with ice cubes.
2. Pour 3 parts Prosecco (roughly 90ml or 3 oz). Using a dry (brut) Prosecco ensures the cocktail isn't too sweet.
3. Add 2 parts Aperol (60ml or 2 oz).
4. Top with 1 part club soda or sparkling water (30ml or 1 oz).
5. Garnish with a slice of fresh orange. You can give the orange a gentle squeeze into the glass for an extra hit of citrus aroma.
6. Give it a very light, brief stir to combine without knocking out the bubbles.
