Road Trip: 39th Annual Light Up Mount Dora

The bus leaves Ascention Catholic Church, 2950 N Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne at 10:00 am sharp, with or without you, so arrive early. The bus returns at 9:30 pm.

This is the 39th annual and one of the premier holiday light shows in the area.

Founded in 1880, Mount Dora is known for its small town souther charm. It many antique shops in the downtown area. The downtown area overlooks Lake Dora. It is known as the “Festival City”.

Stroll the decorated downtown streets and listen to the live music, carolers, and quartets singing on every street. There is snow in the air and the scent of Christmas is all around. The stores bars and restaurants all all open.

From 4:30-5:30 is a pretty show with all kinds of music around.5:30-6:30 is the Christmas Show in Donnelly Park. Then downtown hosts the beautiful and awesome Christmas tree lighting.
