Easy hike up to 5 miles long. Some could turn back early for a 3-mile hike. Trails are mostly flat and straight (a former rail bed), but a few roots possible in some places.

The Great Meadows National wildlife refuge offers us all a chance to unplug from the stresses of daily life and reconnect with our natural surroundings. It is roughly 85% composed of valuable freshwater wetlands, alongside the Sudbury and Concord Rivers. It comprises of eight trails. The trails are mostly flat with roots in some areas. Easy hike up to 5 miles. Could turn back at 3 if you need to.

By signing up for this event you agree to abide by the following rules:
Only sign up if you are sure you will be attending. If you sign up for an event but will not be attending, change your response ASAP. Cancellations and no-shows make it difficult for the volunteers to continue organizing events.

Dress appropriately for the weather, wear sturdy footwear, and bring plenty of water. Buds & Bugs season starting. Repellant if it's warm.
You assume all risks when participating and certify that you are fit to participate. The wildlife refuge does not allow dogs.

All participants must use care and good judgment and obey all instructions, rules, and regulations of the venue and local authorities.
The volunteer group leaders, hosts, and other participants are not liable for any harm or injury caused by participating in the detailed purpose of the event.
Come on time.
Check Meetup for cancellations and changes in meeting times and locations before each event.
Stay on the right side of the trail if joggers or bikes approaching.
Be kind to everyone.
