Concord Walk-About

Thanks to the efforts of the exploring group last weekend, an efficient route to the famous sites of Sleepy Hollow and through the pine woods to the Borden Ponds has been established. Old North Bridge is close by for an optional detour. About 3 to 4 miles total.

Park at the municipal lot nearest 139 Keyes Road (on either side). If lots are full, check out the lots at Concord Market (77 Lowell Road). Bathrooms at Visitors Center.
After the walk, we may go to Cafe Nero for a snack and warm drink. Generous space in two rooms with fireplace or long table.
Group rules:

• You must be signed up to attend the event.
• Only sign up for events if you intend to show up.
• Wear sturdy footwear and appropriate clothes for the weather.
• Bring water.
• You assume all risks when participating. Group leaders are volunteers and are not liable for any harm or injury to you or others.
• We will take off about 10 minutes past the starting time.
• If you sign up for an event but will not be attending, please change your response.
• Check Meetup for cancellations and changes in meeting times and locations before each event.
• Stay on the right side of the trails.
• Be kind to each other.
