Intro to Modern Calligraphy (Repeat of First Class)
Details
Come join me to learn the basic foundational strokes of all calligraphy styles. I'll guide you through the process of making each and provide a practice sheet you can copy and use for honing your newfound skills until the next class.
We will discuss writing tools and supplies for learning modern calligraphy so you can determine which is best for you to use.
I will be sending an email with pages that will need to be printed once participants RSVP. Bring them to the workshop as we will be using them during the class.
Supplies Needed
Soft Pencil with a dull point - #2 or #4, preferably #4
White Copy Paper - 32 lb is best since it will help prevent the nib or brush tip from wearing down
Eraser - any eraser will work, but Tri-Tip is my go-to eraser
