Technique Tuesday - Broccoli + Ink = Pooh's Hundred Acre Woods
Details
Technique Tuesday will continue our September Virtual Papercrafting workshop. Our focus bundle for last Sunday's workshop was Stampin' Up's "Sweet 0ld Friends" stamp, die, and embossing folder bundle. We will continue using the bundle to make this unique card by creating the Hundred Acre Woods as a background for the characters in the set. The woods are created with the special technique, stamping with food (broccoli), to create the trees.
If you do not have the "Sweet Old Friends" bundle, you can still participate using any animal character set. If you wish to use a Pooh set, there are a plethora of Pooh stamp sets out there in the craft world right now.
This is a unique technique that produces an interesting result. It is worth the effort to give it a try, and, besides, the card is really cute.
Think about all those kids, and adults too, who love Pooh and would love to receive a "Pooh" card from you.
Do remember that this technique can be used on other cards for other reasons. Use your imagination and be creative!
Join us if you can. I will send a copy of the tutorial to anyone who hasn't received it.
