We are an online peer support group for people who are honing their Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, a program offering effective tools for managing anxiety, depression, building healthy relationships, and being effective at emotional regulation. While this group does not take the place of taking a certified course, we learn through each other by sharing stories and insights from our life where we used DBT skills, and practicing interactive exercises during the group meeting. If this sounds right for you, come join us.

Who is this for?

This peer support group is for people who have taken a DBT Skills Training Class, (or are in the process of taking it), or are currently working with a DBT trained therapist. If you haven't taken a DBT Skills Training class, you won't be turned away, but we strongly recommend taking it soon so you'll get the most benefit from the group.

What to Expect:

We start with a mindfulness meditation, followed by a review of the group's rules, and then we do interactive exercises that practice DBT skills and have discussions about these DBT skills. We believe this approach will lead us towards mastering these complex skills. The more you practice, the better you get! Come join us.

If you've been thinking of practicing DBT skills in a safe and friendly place because you want to create a life and build relationships that are worth living to you, as well as become more effective with managing yourself and your circumstances, then this group is for you.
