Title: Capturing requirements visually using sketchnote techniques
Abstract: As an [insert data worker role], creating data products includes eliciting requirements from a client, boss, imaginary audience, etc. This process often starts with a general meeting where some instructions will be given, and you'll be asked to deliver as soon as possible. Some sort of documentation may be available during / after the meeting either as rough sketches or as minutes. Some time goes by, money is spent, and the product has hit different challenges. What could be done differently?
What if we could capture the essence of requirements gathering visually, where we could easily see where the gaps in our knowledge were, and where we could walk non-specialists through the main concerns easily.
In this presentation, Yuri will walk through a common scenario, and discuss the process of creating visual notes to capture requirements, risks, timeline, etc of your task that can be shared with stakeholders.
You can find out more about Yuri on www.vizthink.dk
Snacks and drinks will be provided.
