Modern life is hectic! Wouldn’t it be great to have the tools to help us stay resilient no matter what show ups in our lives, creating more calm, joy, and inner peace?
Based on Dr. Rick Hanson’s book “Resilient - How to Grow an Unshakable Core of Calm, Strength, and Happiness,” Sunday Cote will guide us in an exploration of meditation in general and more specifically processes that cultivate true inner resilience.
Combining neuroscience, mindfulness and positive psychology, these meditations can deepen our experience of resilience not only for challenging conditions in our lives, but for everyday experiences such as raising our kids, working, dealing with health issue, and general daily stresses.
After each session, you will leave with a deeper understanding of your own meditation practice as well as a concrete skill to create resilience and happiness in life.
Come to the year long series or drop in for any of the monthly meetings. No prior meditation experience necessary. Purchasing the book is also not a requirement, but is a great source for deeper understanding of the material.
