What we're about

There are a ton of Christian SINGLES throughout central Indiana, especially throughout the Indianapolis area -- however, sometimes, we need help finding each other and connecting with each other. Use this meetup group to find other Christian singles with which to spend time. You can advertise whatever events and activities you want (as long as they honor God): card game and / or boxed game events, concerts, sporting events, dances, restaurant meetups, outreaches, 5K runs and / or walks, road trips, hikes, Bible studies, etc. You need to meet only 4 CRITERIA to be a member of this meetup group:
1) You must be single (i.e., unmarried).
2) You must be an adult (age 20 or older).
3) You must be a follower of the Lord God Almighty, someone who believes the Bible is the Word of God, AND desires to put it into practice on a daily basis.
4) You must be willing to build Godly Friendships with other Christian singles.

GUIDELINES:
1) This is NOT a dating site; if that is what you want, then try eHarmony.com or ChristianMingle.com!
2) Do NOT cause Division or Drama within this meetup group.
3) Do NOT post any inappropriate language or photos or images.
4) If you cannot say something nice, then do NOT say anything at all.

CICS Mission Statement:
To help single Christians connect with each other, build Godly Friendships with each other, and grow closer to the Lord God Almighty.

Singles Bible Study Meeting

Community Church of Greenwood

* What we plan to do: “Watch Your Mouth: Understanding the Power of the Tongue” is our current Bible study. Your greatest weapon — for good or for evil — is in your mouth. Bible teacher and pastor Dr. Tony Evans has produced a life-changing resource to help Christians learn to tame their tongues. Get inspired by Dr. Tony’s teaching on the tongue — and model with your mouth the character of God. Do not let your words bring cursing or destruction to yourself and / or those you love. Instead, let your words minister to and speak life into each person with whom you spend time or each person whom you meet or each person with whom you communicate. In fact, your mouth is like a battleground between God and Satan! We are learning how to tame our tongues. Please grow with us! If you want to Grow in Godliness, then you need to honor God with your speech. Words are powerful things! No one intentionally aims to ruin his or her relationships or career. However, too often, this happens as a result of being unaware of the corrupting influence of our words and the damage that they can cause. This is a life-changing Bible study that you would not want to miss! * What to bring: a Bible and / or the book “Watch Your Mouth: Understanding the Power of the Tongue” by Dr. Tony Evans and / or the study guide for that book; also, we encourage you to bring a single friend who is 20 or older. * Important to know: This Bible study meeting is open to single adults of all ages, 20 and older, from all churches. Also, we are meeting inside the "Upper Room" inside the main building at the Community Christian Church of Greenwood campus (1477 West Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana). Soon after you arrive at the CCCG campus, park in one of the parking spaces that are slightly south of the main building at the CCCG campus, then enter that building through the main entrance on the south side of that building, then ascend the stairs that you see in front of you to the upper floor of that building, then walk forward to and through the upper-floor entrance of the worship center, and then turn into the "Upper Room".
