On Saturday, 8/20/2022, we plan to visit Lake Monroe at 4850 South Indiana Highway 446, Bloomington, Indiana, 47401. We apparently are renting 7 pontoon boats for 8 hours on Lake Monroe, which apparently is the largest lake in Indiana! So, please join us for a fun 8 hours of boating, swimming, and fellowship. You can spend time in the water, and you can make some new friends during this fellowship event or road trip. There apparently are enough seats for 120 singles and their children in the 7 pontoon boats that we are renting. A CICS member with a first name of Bill, a CICS member with a first name of Bronson, and a CICS member with a first name of Mike are apparently scheduled to share their Inspiring Testimonies with us during lunchtime.
Advisories:
- Water safety advisory: You are advised to wear a life vest or a life preserver during any moment that you spend in the water of Lake Monroe.
- BLUE-GREEN ALGAE ADVISORY ALERT FOR FAIRFAX SRA AND PAYNETOWN SRA: Swimming and boating are permitted. Avoid contact with algae. Avoid swallowing water while swimming. Take a bath or shower with warm soapy water after coming in contact with lake water. Do not use lake water for cooking or bathing. Do not allow your pets to swim or drink lake water where algae are present.
- Black Vultures advisory: Black Vultures might damage your vehicle.
The description that I (Eric S.) received for this fellowship event unfortunately did not clearly specify the specific meeting place near Lake Monroe for this fellowship event or road trip. So, I sent an email message to Michael Tegeler and to David Skomp on Sunday, 8/7/2022, and asked them what is the specific meeting place near Lake Monroe for this fellowship event or road trip. However, I have apparently unfortunately not received a response message from either Michael Tegeler or David Skomp since Sunday, 8/7/2022. At www.in.gov/dnr/state-parks/parks-lakes/monroe-lake, it indicates that there apparently are 2 places that are near Lake Monroe and that rent boats, Lake Monroe Boat Rental, www.lakemonroeboatrental.com, at 4855 South Indiana Highway 446, Bloomington, Indiana, 47401, and Two Herons Marina (previously titled Lake Monroe Marina), www.twoheronsmarina.com, at 5505 South Indiana Highway 446, Bloomington, Indiana, 47401. So, those 2 addresses apparently are the likeliest 2 addresses for the specific meeting place near Lake Monroe for this fellowship event or road trip. So, I suggest that you contact Michael Tegeler by using his contact information that is in the next paragraph and ask him "where is our specific meeting place near Lake Monroe?" You can see additional information about Lake Monroe, including maps of Lake Monroe and additional information about each advisory, at www.in.gov/dnr/state-parks/parks-lakes/monroe-lake.
We encourage you to bring 1 or more single friends, each of whom is 20 or older, with you and we encourage you to bring each of your children, if any, with you. If you have any question about any part of this fellowship event or road trip, such as "is there carpooling for this road trip on Saturday, 8/20/2022, and, if so, then where and by what time are we meeting for carpooling?" or "where is our specific meeting place near Lake Monroe?", then please send a message to Michael Tegeler (an organizer for the pages of CICS on facebook.com) at his profile on facebook.com, call Michael at[masked], or send a text message to Michael at[masked]. Thank you.
Note: The CICS ministry and meetup group has pages on meetup.com and on facebook.com, it is usually the case that each event for CICS with an announcement page on meetup.com also has an announcement page on facebook.com, and it is usually the case that the announcement page for each event for CICS on facebook.com has more RSVP Yeses than does the announcement page for the same event on meetup.com. So, the total number of RSVP Yeses for this fellowship event or road trip is more than the total number of RSVP Yeses on this announcement page.
