We meet every Wednesday evening. Doors open at 7pm, meditation from 7:30 - 9:00pm. Silent sitting and walking meditation.
Usually we begin with a brief reading or teaching on some aspect of Buddhist philosophy, mindfulness or meditation practice. We then normally do three 20-minute silent sitting meditations, alternating with two 10-minute silent walking meditations. The transitions between sitting and walking are marked by a bell. Afterwards we have tea, cookies and social time, usually wrapping up the evening by 9:30.
We have occasional speakers, and basic instruction can be provided on request. See our website for details and contact information. There is no fee to attend, but donations are gratefully accepted to cover our costs.
