We are a group of enthusiastic players of the American version of Mahjongg, and we welcome others who want to play this challenging and fun game in a relaxed, enjoyable manner. For a description of the game see: https://www.nationalmahjonggleague.org/game.aspx. This is not the tile matching game.
This group is for experienced players only. If you are pretty new you are welcome to join us as long as you can play up to the speed of the other players. Most of us are over 55 but there is no age restriction. Women and men are welcome. We generally have events scheduled on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday afternoons. We sometimes play on Friday afternoons or Friday evenings.
We now have a sister group that is specifically for beginners, or if you've been out of the game for a while and need to brush up. It's called Beginners (NMJL) Mah Jongg.
