A Complete Guide to Photogrpahy

Details
The class is an 8-hour photography course, spread over four days and designed to improve your skillset to impress your friends and family. You will understand how a camera works and learn to take better photos with family, landscapes, wildlife, and much more. You'll learn basic editing, composition, and lighting.
Requirements: No prior photography knowledge is expected or needed—a complete course prepared for beginners. The class is for the absolute beginner with a D-SLR or Mirrorless System.
Any camera: Any camera used the appropriate way will take excellent pictures. However, if you are new to DSLR or Mirrorless cameras or thinking of upgrading, this class is for you.
Contents and Overview: You'll start with the basics, like the camera in your hand, and we will build from there. The class will cover how cameras work and what gear is needed. We will go over manual settings. You will understand it's not what you have, but it's in how you use it to capture images. We will cover composition, lighting, portraits, street, long exposure, action, smartphone, wildlife, weddings, and much more. Optionally there will be assignments handed out that we can review after the class. Although the cameras featured in the class are Canon, Nikon, Olympus, and Sony, you do not need to have one of these systems. Each session ends with Ask Me Anything about Photography.
The fee for the four-day class is $300. Save $50 if you purchase a camera from JPI. Contact JPI for additional details.
