What we're about

The Arroyo Singers is a nonprofit organization founded in 1961 by a group of Caltech faculty wives. We are a women's chorus, and our repertoire ranges from classical, renaissance and baroque, to folk music and contemporary. We perform two formal Winter and Spring concerts each year featuring a wide variety of instrumental ensembles and guest artists on the harp, organ and accordion. The Arroyo Singers have also given informal performances in the area including at Women’s Clubs, libraries, museums, senior centers and retirement homes. Our membership is drawn from the Pasadena area and surrounding communities.

We are happy to report that we are beginning our Fall season on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. If you are a woman who likes to sing you are welcome to join us. Please note that due to COVID-19 we expect that any woman who wants to join The Arroyo Singers be vaccinated. We will be honoring social distancing guidelines in our practices, including wearing masks.
