Geeks Who Drink uses the power of good trivia to connect people with friends (and friends-to-be).
Geeks Who Drink is a large trivia hosting organization, featuring eight rounds of audio, video, and general knowledge questions designed to be challenging but accessible, fostering social interaction and winning prizes in a casual atmosphere. In the end, we are doing it for some grub and good fun!
No limit on group participants but only groups of 6 people or less will be eligible for prizes, so if we have more than 6 going, we can split into 2 groups!
Wednesdays are laser ball for $20. it's basically capture the flag for 2 hours straight. It's an adrenaline rush, and it's a great deal.
The arena in this place is one of the best in the metro Detroit area. They have a full second floor with lots of windows. They also offer special games to help keep things interesting. I ran some of these events last winter and it was always a fun time.
You would like to lock your belongings in a locker, so that you don't need to worry about it while we play, they have lockers available that can be locked with a quarter. Please note that each time you open the locker, it will need a new quarter. Lockers are not big but can fit a wallet, key, and rolled coat no problem.
We often get food after.
