20/3 - One of Wellington's best bands at the Green Man Pub (for free)

On Friday, 20/3, one of Wellington's best kick ass bands will be playing for free at the Green Man Pub. They are called "Jody and the Stowaways." We have seen them only once before, at the Establishment before it closed. However, they left an indelible memory on all that saw them. See what I mean by checking out Jodie & The Stowaways.
Newbies, FYI Friday Drink's goal is to provide great venues to make new friends and to hang out with old ones of both sexes. It is not a singles meetup. When you arrive, come to me so that I may greet you and introduce you to some of the others.

URGENT - 17/4 - The Clash & the DJ from Atomic and 24 Hour People Party

On Friday, 17/4, Wazzo Clash will play the Clash songs, including Rock the Casbah, Should I Stay, or Should I Go, London Calling, I Fought the Law and the Law Won, and Trian in Vain (stand by me) at the Meow (not Meow Nui). Additionally, the DJ from Atomic and 24-Hour Party People will be spinning his disks.
Since the venue is extremely small, tickets will sell out fast, especially since they are only $20. You may buy them at Buy Tickets - Meow Calling.
