Happy almost Black Friday - On 28/11, we will meet at a new bar (for us) - The Bridge Bar in the Cambridge Hotel. Since 1930, the Cambridge has been a Wellington landmark. It's truly a classic. We will have our own room to the left of the main bar, with private bar and plenty of room to mix, mingle, and dance. We will play our own music - the best dance hits from the '80's and '90's. In addition, WE WILL ENJOY A 20% DISCOUNT ON ALL DRINKS!! Even if you don't drink though, you will have fun. The Cambridge Hotel is on Cambridge Terrace, right around the corner from Courtney Place. Ho, Ho, Ho - Christmas - it will be here before you know it. We are celebrating our 8th annual Christmas party at the Cavern Club on Friday, 19/12. Not only will we enjoy the cheapest drinks in Wellington, but also its house band, "Wink", will be rocking. There is no charge for the band, and it will be playing some of its new dance songs from the '80's. Everyone loves them. Once they start playing, the dance floor is always jammed. Newbies, you are most welcome to join us. When you arrive, come to me so that I may greet you and, if you like, i will be happy to introduce you to some of the others. Please RSVP ASAP.
