On Friday, 10/7, our favourite band, Wink, will play at one of our favourite bars, the Gibbons Hotel. Over the years, we have seen Wink progress to become one of New Zealand's best cover bands. They play dance hits from the '80s to the '90s. I am sure that you will agree that the female vocalist, Jules, is amazing.
The Gibbons Hotel, formerly known as Jack Hacketts, is also one of our favourite dance venues. If you haven't been there before, you will see how its owners have put a ton of money into making it one of the classiest pubs in Wellington. We will congregate in or near the room to the left of the bar as you enter.
Newbies, and there are over 60 of you, come to me when you arrive so I may greet you and introduce you to the others.
