The Lights Festival is a magical gathering where people from all walks of life come together to create uplifting, positive, and unforgettable memories. Whether you're honoring a lost loved one, setting your hopes and dreams afloat, or simply enjoying the vibrant atmosphere, there's something for everyone.
Some participants use the lantern release as a heartfelt tribute to those they've lost. Others pen their dreams and aspirations on the lanterns, sending them skyward as symbols of hope. For some, it's a chance to let go of the past and embrace new beginnings. And for many, it's all about soaking in the joyous ambiance with delicious food, live music, dancing, and the breathtaking sight of thousands of lanterns illuminating the night sky.

The Lights Fest has something to do for everyone.

- Spend time decorating your lantern
- Enjoy all the offerings of food, snacks and beverages
- Gates open a couple hours before sunset. There will be food and drink available for purchase, vendors to check out, and live music to enjoy. Outside food and drink is typically allowed, but policies can vary by venue. Your Participant Packet will be emailed to you a week before your event, and will provide an itinerary and more details specific to this event location. The sky lantern launch will take place at nightfall and is 100% dependent on the wind and the fire marshal’s approval.
