Abstract:
Everyone says they do GRC. Most don't — they run it in reverse: governance, risk and compliance as a checklist that only moves when the next audit, framework or finding forces it. That's a reactive programme, and it comes down to one letter most teams leave silent. In this session, Adam Cunningham (CISO, Vela APX) shows how to flip your security programme from reactive to proactive — governance-led, not assurance-led — at any size and without adding headcount. You'll leave able to test your own programme with a single question.
